STATUS OF BUCP

BUCP's main statutory objective is to come up for the common interests of the
Belgian certification bodies, inspection bodies and testing laboratories for
construction products in the scope of the voluntary conformity marks, the regulatory
European CE marking and the Belgian accreditation of these bodies.
According to the statutes, the full members of BUCP belong to the following
Bodies belonging to the above-mentioned groups are only admitted as full members
if they work within the scope of the voluntary conformity
marks BENOR and ATG or if they were notified by the Belgian authorities
to the European Union Commission for the attestation of CE-marking.
Nonetheless, BUCP may admit as associate members, bodies that cannot
be accepted as full members because of the statutes.
